Like People Do (LPD) is a research and design consultancy specialising in the use of narrative
and ‘storytelling’ to create compelling experiences and engaging environments. Our work enables
communication, interaction and discovery.

What we do
We design interaction: interaction between people; and interaction between people and brands, places,
music and other art forms.

We are daring, truly multidisciplinary, hands on and collaborative. Our breadth of professional experience,
together with our vision and enthusiasm, has ensured an exemplary track record and a wealth of contacts
in the field of interactive environments.

LPD has a small core team, which means we can respond quickly to the needs of our clients. We can draw
on a large pool of external collaborators who are expert in different disciplines, enabling us to handle a wide
range of briefs.

LPD is pioneering in its use of collaborative practice across disciplines and sectors. We work with artists,
architects, designers, urban planners, property developers, curators, event planners, workplace specialists,
local government, PR teams and advertising agencies, cultural and public sector organisations and a wide range
of companies from large multinationals to innovative SME’s.

LPD enjoys working with ambitious and visionary clients on creatively challenging and fantastically diverse projects.

We deliver creative design consultancy and research projects.

Our consultancy work includes visitor attractions that animate and enhance the public realm both indoors
and outdoors, the development of brand experiences and event, exhibition and service design.

Research projects can be commercially-led by industry or conducted in partnership with other academic/research
institutions. This research continually informs our work and keeps our thinking fresh and at the cutting edge.
